It sounded like it was switching between an English accent and a heavy New York accent, and sometimes a combination of both. I chalked it up to being a kids movie but that's not really an excuse. My only downsides are a few parts that don't really make sense. Whoever cast him as Robotnik is a genius. I said this in my review of the first movie, every moment Jim Carrey is on the screen is pure gold. It's on par with the original in every way, just bigger. It's much bigger but feels just like the first movie. They lose the essence of what made the original good. Many sequels go bigger but end up being worse than the original.
